Budgets for Entertainment

Ok, this is always a sensitive issue.    We know how expensive weddings can be!   So, think about the following:

How much are we spending on video and still photographing the party?  What are we spending on making it a good party?

How much are we spending on the entree and desert?  Will guests remember the entree or the band being great or not great?

How long will we enjoy the fancy hire cars? How many hours of entertainment will the band or DJ give us?

A simply way of estimating a good budget for entertainment is as follow:

Cost of Entree + Cost of Desert x (Number of Guests) =  $ Good party

It is always hard, but of course, you get what you pay for.
